Candle Meditation

Using a candle is such an easy way to spend five minutes meditating.  Simply light a candle, sit in a comfortable position, and observe the flame.  No need to close your eyes (and feel free to blink!).   Your mind will start to wander, but bring yourself back by focusing on the breath.  As a side note, in meditation, your mind often starts to wander off, often focusing on quite random things.  Don’t be hard on yourself when this occurs.  It’s a natural part of meditation and it’s the reason for meditation.  We have a monkey mind and we want to calm it down…but at the end, it’s still a monkey!
